Homesteading for Dingbats

I am going to try to write on a few faucets of homesteading, farming and
animal husbandry that will serve to, hopefully, benefit those starting down
this road recently or in the near future.

This first edition, if you will, concerns animal selection, pros and cons
of different species, as well as pros and cons as different breeds.

I cannot always talk about farming, animals birth, gardening, local foods and so worth.

Being that this is my blog, I feel compelled to share a collection of some of the best sound bites of preaching that I've heard put together in my life.

We are Christians here at the Farm, and as much as I want to share our adventures, my beliefs on local food, humane treatment of animals and vegetarian trials and tribulations, I would be sorely remiss if I did not share these videos, which are so much more important than all of the above.

If you've read through my blog, you will realize, I am a radical in my beliefs, and you will find me the same in all areas, including my belief in Jesus and the Christian faith.

Pricing Guidelines

Session Charges :

Weddings and Seniors are packaged priced. Additional time for each session beyond what is allotted is possible. Time is measured from the time I arrive at the location if the location is within 30 minutes of Huntington, WV.

The rate for each hour of shooting for a wedding beyond 3 hours is $75 per hour up to a total of 6 hours. The rate beyond 6 hours is $50 per hour. The rate for each hour of shooting beyond 1 1/2 hours for Senior Photos is $75. Engagement shoots for weddings are an additional rate of $125 per hour.

The per hour rate for sessions compromised of at 1 - 1 1/2 hours, other than Weddings and Senior photos, is typically a flat $200 per session, up to one hour, and then an additional rate of $125 for each additional hour.

Sessions for a headshot or sessions that require a single image are $25, and they take approx. 15 mintes to shoot.

Travel Expenses:

Travel time is charged for session under 3 hours in length beyond 30 minutes at the rate of $10 per additional 30 minutes of travel time. To best know if you will have a travel charge, email me with your location and what you're looking for in your session, and I will let you know if a travel charge will apply. ANYTIME a meeting with me prior to a session is desired that requires any travel on my part, a travel charge must be pre paid. I cannot come out to see your location otherwise.

Services Provided:

I provide, with any session, a digital copy of all of

your best images on a CD or DVD. You will

have a written copy providing Shared Rights of your images to allow you to make prints anywhere in any

quantity.

I provide professional touching and enhancement with Adobe Photoshop on your best images from my discretion, and additional retouching based on your requests if possible for an additional fee.

Prints:

I offer print packages and single prints developed through the top professional development companies in the USA. The quality of these prints far exceeds anything the regular consumer can obtain. I can provide any size print and any photo product you might be interested. Pricing is far under what the

average photographer's price on the same prints from the same companies I work with.

Important Notes:
The digital retouching, enhancement and professional development are at the basis of what I am paid forand the reason for my prices.
A huge amount of work goes into this type of work on photographs, and it takes a very long time
to learn how to do detailed digital enhancing.
I currently have 5 backdrops in Basic BLACK & WHITE, as well as blue/brown options,
and I have some lighting for indoor portrait photographs, and I can produce some nice indoor portraits with these,
but the best photos, I feel, at taken in interesting indoor places with great natural lighting and outdoor shots.
I do not charge what average professional photographers charge for taking photos and digitally retouching them.
ONE PHOTO will full retouching and enchantment, such as I provide, can run hundreds and hundreds of dollars.
If you look at the retouching and enhancement prices online, you will quickly learn this.

PLEASE have ideas for the type of poses and photos you wish to end up with because
I cannot read your mind and have no idea what you're hoping for unless you relay your ideas to me.

I give you a DVD or CD with a limited copyright release to print your pictures if do not want to do an additional order of prints through me.
This helps you since it leaves you all of your proofs and options to develop them all as you have the time; it is also much more economical.

I do contract through a major development company, and this company does provide MANY, Many AMAZING options for your photos, and they do the best work in the U.S. You can purchase canvas wraps, custom books, large scale wall portraits, many different finishes to your prints, metallic prints, and other options, if you so choose.
